The company says the configuration, which uses more than 2,200 panels, can generate 600,000 kilowatt hours annually. It's the second solar project from Harris (the first came at Harris' Anaheim, Calif., plant in August 2010), and both endeavors aim to offset approximately 60 percent of their respec- tive sites' power needs, saving more than 40,000 barrels of oil. Furthermore, it is projected that the solar initiatives will reduce carbon dioxide emission by more than 450 tons annually. The solar panel systems were designed and constructed by REC Solar, one of the largest U.S. solar electric providers. 856/793-0290. harristea.com NEW ENGINEER IN TOWN Grinder and brewer manufacturer Grindmaster-Cecilware named Jose G.
